Help Raise Funds For Tyson
Beschermde donatie
This is Tyson, the Sharp Families Bull Terrier that they and so many others love. He has been in the intensive care unit at an emergency vet clinic since, Saturday, January 14th, 2023. He was brought in around 8:30 pm, after getting out and being hit by a car that night, and has been there ever since. We are hoping this will raise money to cover the expenses for the treatment Tyson needs to survive.
Tyson was adopted by the Sharp family in March of 2020 from a family who could no longer care for him. He was an outside dog his whole life, until the Sharp's took him in at 1 year old, and has been loved by them since the day they got him. At only 3, he is full of energy, as the bully breeds all are, and loves to be the center of the show. He loves to "talk" over everyone, and makes sure he is heard! He has an everlasting amount of energy, he goes on walks with his best friend in the whole world, Mike Sharp every day for at least 5 miles! They truly have a man's best friend relationship and are together every day. He loves to be cuddled too early in the morning with Krista Sharp and push her off the bed. He gets the zoomies and runs around the house, chasing Brandon while filling the house with loud barks and squeals. Bailey and Tyson love to be together and party every holiday and birthday with costumes or hats to be dressed up for any event. He also has 2 other dog siblings, Charlie who is missing his play times and running through the house, and Lola who is confused as to where he went. This has been so hard as the family has not had their dog with them for the past few days, with no sight as to when he will be able to come home.
The night he was hit, the tracking collar Tyson always wears was not working and could not see his location. As everyone was out searching for him, he was found at the end of the neighborhood, laying in the street unable to move very much and bleeding. He was rushed straight to the emergency vet and taken back immediately. He had no broken bones, but many contusions in his chest, which was then discovered his lungs were filling with blood. Decisions were needing to be made to save his life, which also came with bills. At this moment, Tyson has been in an oxygen cage (seen in the photo above), 24 hours all-day, and needs to stay there until he can breathe fully on his own. The Sharps go to visit Tyson daily, and when they are not there, calling to check up on him. He has been loved all around by the staff helping to heal him and making sure he is recovering. Tyson is not out of the woods yet and could still be at risk of infection or worse. The current vet bill is at $5,000 and could increase as we do not know when he will be out of the oxygen cage and be allowed to come back home. At this time we are taking donations to help pay these expenses to create less stress on his family and focus more on taking Tyson home and surrounding him with love and his people while he is still recovering.
