On the night of September 10, our village in Bali was hit by severe floods. The water rose quickly, reaching up to 1.5 meters high, and caused devastating damage to many homes. My family lives in a house right next to the river, and we were heavily affected. Belongings were destroyed, electrical systems were ruined, and many parts of our house and neighborhood suffered extensive damage.

The floods did not only affect my family but also our neighbors and other families in the area. Many people lost almost everything they had, from clothes and furniture to food and essential household items. It has been heartbreaking to see the community struggle.
