In light of the passing of our dear friend and valued community member, Matt Boyle, The Arc of Spokane is hosting this page to support Stephanie Boyle and family with funeral expenses.
A friend, brother, and son - Matt Boyle was smart, kind-hearted, determined and resilient. Matt was creative and inspirational to our community. Some of his favorite hobbies were theater and film. He participated in multiple theatrical productions with Christian Youth Theater, where his great personality and sense of humor could truly shine.
He was an active member in The Arc of Spokane Explorers program and an employee of the BOSS program. He was also a student at Images, nearing his graduation.
Matt celebrated his 21st birthday on April 10th, a huge milestone for him and his family. A parade of family and friends drove around his block to bring the best party possible while observing the social distancing order. Later in the evening, many gathered via zoom to toast to his 21st year. The joy and heartfelt conversation that was shared was a testament of the rich and wholesome community that Matt formed during his life.
Matt’s mom, Stephanie Boyle, has been a staff member for The Arc of Spokane for over 20 years. In addition to being a primary caregiver and mother of two boys, Stephanie has been challenged with personal health complications, which have taken a toll financially and emotionally.
Your donation to this fund will help with expenses related to Matt's memorial and funeral, making this time a little easier for the loved ones mourning his loss.
