On September 7th my family was devastated with the passing of my grandfather, Evaristo Nieto Ramirez—a father, a brother, a friend, and a great-grandfather. It has been an extremely rough time for everyone in the family. Though this is something we mentally prepared for, it is a completely different thing once it starts happening, as it is with any loss one goes through. Though the grief is still fresh with my dad and my uncle’s, arrangements still need to be made because as we all know—life goes on. With that comes—not only the emotional and mental weight of it all—but the financial.
This is a vulnerable and a big ask not only for me but for my family as well because if there is one thing I believe everyone struggles with; it is when they need to ask for help in any aspect—more so when it is something this personal. Between my dad and my uncles, luckily, some of the funeral expenses have been covered but as always, times are tough, with costs on the rise in our day to day lives, the uncertainty of most things, and a time crunch, any little bit helps.
If you cannot donate that is completely okay, we understand—please share and repost if you are able to. Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to help out my family during this hard period in our lives.
