Howie has been a good friend whether in the early days in Clinton schools, sharing a beer and a laugh or having a late night chat. Howie never met a bike path he didn’t like, and he could be seen pedaling around the area free as a bird with a big smile on his face.
Howie died February 26 after a long battle (as much as you can battle) with ALS. He leaves behind a loving family, including his wife Susan, and their two daughters: Cecilia, a student at Clinton Middle School, and Alice, who is in college. Howie had been unable to work for over a year prior to his death, and I am asking for help to raise money to help support his family with funeral and other expenses as they face life without him.
Howie was a good guy who never turned down a friend in need. In Howie’s own words in his final FB post days before his death:
“The Nov before last I was diagnosed with ALS since then I have watched my body and abilitys systematically disappear I haven't spoken since last may.i recently started hospice care the end is nigh.just wanted to put this out in case anyone was was wondering whatever happened to Howie Harris.”
Please help raise money for the family of Howie Harris, one of the good guys. Your donation goes directly to the family as they try to navigate life without their cherished husband and dad. Any amount is appreciated, but If you cannot donate please consider sharing this fundraiser for others to donate.
