Help raise funds for Tania Bell to fight cancer

Tania, a dear friend I would call family, is facing the fight of her life. She is battling Colon Cancer and needs to raise money to support her treatment plan. As a health professional, I understand the short and long-term impacts of cancer. It takes a toll, not only physically but also emotionally and financially. I want finance to be the least of her concerns right now. Tania would never ask for money, but anything you give will help her. If you don’t have anything to contribute monetarily, please send love and healing her way as she goes through her cancer treatment and through to recovery. Tania has put a few words together about her cancer journey.

I am reaching out to ask for help. This is a hard thing for me to do, as making a very personal struggle public is challenging for the private person I am. I do this with a heavy heart but also with the hope of survival for the sake of my two beautiful daughters, Haylee and Sophie, and my loving husband, Mark.

Let me share my story with you. In April 2024 I was diagnosed with stage 1 Colon Cancer after colonoscopy. I can’t even describe the shock and disbelief I felt when I received this news straight out of recovery. The following day, it hit me hard! The tears started to roll down my face and didn’t stop. I couldn’t stop thinking that I would not be around to see my beautiful girls grow, not be around for the future grandchildren (the next stage of my life I am very excited about) and miss out on the fun adventures in retirement with my soul mate. The thought of this was absolutely devasting.

In May 2024 after the medical team’s cross-examination, my cancer was upgraded to Stage 3b. I had just come to terms with the Stage 1 diagnosis, and I was feeling high-spirited, knowing the statistics of recovery and remission were high. But the day I received this news, my hope disappeared in a flash, and the negativity started to take hold. That stats didn’t help. The latest statistics suggest I have a 64% chance of being alive in 5 years compared to 93.2% for stage 1. These stats don’t sit well with me, so I searched for options to better my chances.

Looking into options to support my recovery and longevity, I found a complimentary treatment by reading “How to Starve Cancer” by Jane Mclelland. Jane was given 12 weeks to live with Stage 4 cancer. She studied tirelessly and came up with a protocol using existing medications and treatments which stopped her cancer in its tracks. She is still alive and advocating her protocol 20 years later. Through Jane’s book I found Dr Peter Eng of Eng Medical Centre in Brighton, Victoria who follows Jane’s protocol “The Redo Protocol”. This protocol is what I have chosen to follow alongside the traditional Colon Cancer treatment plan of Radiation, Chemotherapy and surgery (which I am currently undertaking) to compliment my recovery and survival.

To follow this protocol my family and I need to raise $40,000 that will be used for the additional expenses for The Redo Protocol under the supervisions and support from Dr Eng. Any support you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

With gratitude,
Tania Bell
