I’m Celina Thomas from New Orleans, Louisiana. On Sunday February 26,2023 at 8:45 pm, my 18 year old son Rob was shot in the chest as he was working as a videographer at a video shoot on South Derbigny Street in New Orleans, La.
My son is a inspiring youth, who’s a self-taught videographer with interest in film. On this day, this was a situation of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, My son was shot while shooting a music video!!!
Although, My son has made it through this traumatic incident, he is still affected negatively. As a result of the shooting not only has he been shot, injured, and emotionally traumatized; his video equipment was damaged and broken at the scene.
This is a major loss because it prevents him from booking upcoming work, for this is how he made his money to make a living.
Please support My son as the funds collected will be used to replace his video equipment such as his cameras, stabilizer, lens, speaker, camera light that was damaged, by donating to this fundraiser so he can continue his career.
