Raising funds for dogs rescued from China

Hello!

We're a group of passionate volunteers helping Helenna Nobler, founder of Adopt China Dogs Rescue Society. Before Helenna's husband passed away ten years ago, he gifted her with a puppy who helped save her life. Since then, her mission has been to help connect people and families looking for their furever dog and family member. Now based in Los Angeles, Helenna previously served as a police officer in China and has deep relations with rescue agencies and safe house shelters in Beijing, Harbin, Shanghai, Shandong, Jianxi, Chong Qing, Hubei, Tianjin and Sichuan.

These dogs are rescued from many scenarios- abandonment by owners, being sold to meat trucks, euthanasia, etc. There is now a final push to save as many dogs as possible before Canada closes its borders to foreign dogs on September 28, 2022. This list of countries affected by the ban is those that Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) considers to be at high risk for dog rabies. Still, rabies is 100% preventable with appropriate vaccinations.

Please help us raise the much-needed funds to provide the vaccinations, supplies, food and transport costs for these rescues and their potential fosters and adopters.
