Please Help me raise funds for Okhmatdyt Childrens Hospital
Donation protected
Hi,
A group of friends and myself are going to be hiking in September over a 2 day period in the peak district to raise money for the Okhmatdyt Children's hospital that was hit by a missile last year.
Hundreds of hospitals and health care centres have been attacked by the russian army since the full scale invasion begun. Okhmatdyt is the largest childrens hospital and is based in Kyiv and up to 18,000 children are treated there each year.
I have followed Ukraine's struggle for its sovereignty since 2014 and when I saw the hospital had been hit I was utterly appauled and knew I needed to help them in some way.
Now my health is in a good spot and I am now able to hike, I knew it had to be done.
We are also raising toy donations for the children so that we can bring some form of happiness during the difficult times. I have managed to get some donations already from some wonderful local businesses. If you have any spare toys or have any contacts of businesses that could help then please do contact me!
I would really really appreciate any and all donations, this is something very close to my heart and I want to be able to help the hospital and the children as much as possible.
I have set what I feel would be a reasonable target but if we can smash that then even better!
If you are not in a position please do share this as much as you can!
Thank you!
