On Saturday, April 16, my brother Manuel Angel Atalig, tragically lost his life in Washington.

 

Manuel was last seen swimming near a dock, unfortunately the rescue boat was not able to make it on time. Mason county sheriff dept, Skokomish police and Coast Guard searched for two hours. The following day a diving team searched the area for six hours without success.

 

Manuel is survived by his three children and a baby on the way. A memorial will be held in his hometown of San Diego at a later date.

 

All donations will be going to expenses for an independent sonar scan underwater search and recovery team, memorial service and his children. No amount is too small as we greatly appreciate every donation, share and prayer.

 

Manuel had a big heart, contagious laugh, and will always be remembered for his magnified storytelling skills. Musician at heart and a traveler by trade. If love alone could have saved you, you would have stayed with us forever.
