Help Raise Funds for Incapacitated Father Joe Naso
Donation protected
My dad, Joseph Naso recently shattered his leg in a motorcycle accident. He had emergency surgery performed on Friday December 18th. Please read below about how you can help...
My dad has spent my entire life working with his hands, long hard hours building and working on people’s homes-including our own-, for as long as I can remember. He has always been an independent contractor and health insurance is sometimes a gamble for him. Right now is no exception.
When the accident first occurred, his leg was being held together by his bike boot. When he saw the doctor he was put under anesthesia and the bone was manipulated into place in hopes to reset the fracture in attempt to allow it to heal naturally while heavily casted. Unfortunately the bones shifted, and surgery was necessary.
My parents have already struggled this year in the pandemic like most of us, in addition to reduced hours for the whole family, my father’s requests for work, became fewer and fewer as affording home improvements became difficult nationwide due to COVID-19.
Mortgage and household bills are adding up, as my dad usually pays these..
With my mother being the only income provider at the moment, I had to stop a job opportunity- to be able to be a full time caretaker for my father. He’s not able to do anything for himself at the moment.
We are asking for your help to try and cover medical expenses, surgery costs and home expenses. He will require rehabilitation after the surgery, therapy to be taught how to walk again. The recovery process will be at least 5 months, following therapy for about 2 months. My mothers home expenses alone total 6K.. We cannot do this alone.
If there is any amount you can offer it is greatly appreciated, if it isn’t possible for you to donate- if you could share it amongst your community, any amount of visibility can help us as well.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read & thank you for any donations, shares, etc.
We appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
Xoxo the Naso family
