Non Cogito, Ergo Non Sum
Donation protected
Hi, my names Murray and I'm a 3rd year photography student at London Southbank University. For our final year exhibition we are at the Copeland Gallery between May 28th - 1st June. For which I'm creating a large body of conceptual work titled "Non Cogito, Ergo Nom Sum" (I don't think, therefore I am not)
This large body of work is comprised of smaller projects which I have been working on for the last year, which is made up of video, publications, photo prints and objects.
Forgotten Memory (Working title): A digital archeology project in the form of large photo prints, each one at least a metre wide.
Automation Generation Upload (Working title): Exploration of how images are created and shared online.
Unseen Photography (Working title): My personal take on schrodinger's cat. Including the creation and destruction of image.
Neural Bites: An AI cookbook, yes it has been done before by mine is different.
The money raised will go towards the creation of the publications and the cost of printing.
breakdown of costs:
Book 1 is an edition of 100x 32 page A5 perfect bound book, which I will be giving away throughout the exhibition, this will cost £165.50 (plus postage) to make.

Mockup of Book 1
Book 2 is an open edition (will initially print 20) 112 page Hardback book, which will be available to buy at the exhibition, this will cost £179 (plus postage) to make.

Mockup of Book 2
book totals: £344.50 + P&P
I will be printing the large photos with the print technician soon and will discuss the cost of printing with them, I will then add them to this list.
IF I somehow manage to raise more than £200, I will either create more pages in the book or create larger quantity of books printed.
I understand times are tough for a lot of people financially, so I am aware it's a big ask and appreciate any donations. If you are unable to donate money, please share this with your friends.
If you'd like to check out my body of work, my instagram is @murray1pm
Thank you for taking the time to read this and an even bigger thank you, if you are able to help in any way.
