Hi friends & family,
I’m fundraising for my sister’s dog Baloo, who you all know is a special part of the family. He’s a 7 year old Sharpei with the sweetest heart. He has recently been admitted to the pet hospital after an infection began attacking his liver and kidneys.
The vet he was seeing for the last few days has recommended he go to a specialist out of town for the support/care that he needs. Currently Baloo is being monitored 24 hours a day while he’s on medication, IV hydration and a feeding tube.
Since the infection was quite severe Baloo’s recovery is going to take some time. Thankfully this infection is curable and Baloo is a tough little bugger! He’s also lucky to have owners like my sister and Beau who would do anything for him or the loved ones in there life.
We all know vet bills are crazy expensive and the day to day care for hospitalization adds up! My sister & brother are not the type to ask for help, so it would mean a lot to her and Beau to get any help that others are willing to give.
So far Teela and Beau have paid over $10,000 in vet bills. If you can spare any dollars this month to donate, our family would greatly appreciate it. - Cam
