Help Raise Donations for Joe and Kathy Kozakiewicz

Our father Joe has been diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma lung cancer. He developed melanoma on his head in 2016 which was treated and all was free and clear until he went in for a chest x-ray and PET scan a few weeks ago and we were told that it had spread to his lungs. There are 3 large masses, along with several smaller masses on his lungs, with one tumor in particular that is touching his vocal cord stem, prohibiting him from being able to speak. He has completely lost his voice and has trouble eating and not much of an appetite.

He has started treatment at Roswell Park, but unfortunately his insurance is out of network with them, leaving my parents to pick up most of the costs. He gets injections every 3 weeks which leaves him nauseous and weak. Since our dad has been diagnosed, my mother had to go out on FMLA leave to take care of him, since he now requires 24 hour care.  She still has not received a check, but, when she does, she will only receive 40% of her salary. So, they are now behind on their mortgage and other expenses and are in jeopardy of losing their home and their vehicles due to incurring medical expenses.

Starting a go fund me is our last option, as we don't know what else to do. We are helping them as much as we can but we need some help.
