Help raise $4k for my 40th!

Guess what? I’m turning 40. Yep, that’s right. And not only am I turning 40, but it’s happening on another big day—election day.  So I’m hoping you will help me celebrate in a different, pandemic- and rescue-related way.

As most of you may know, I’m a dog rescuer. I’ve been rescuing, rehabbing and rehoming unwanted shelter dogs for 10 years. And as you may also know, this avocation can get expensive. Most of the dogs I rescue are seniors with medical issues---blind, deaf, heart disease, diabetic, toothless, you name it. I’ve seen and rescued them all. And when necessary, I’ve helped them cross the rainbow bridge with dignity and love.

So, in keeping with the times, I won’t be celebrating my big day with a blowout party or material gifts. But there is one gift that I am wishing for, which will help me continue my rescue efforts, and that is your donation. While I realize times are tough, and many of you are already being asked to help, please know that no amount is too small or insignificant. It all adds up, and you can rest assured that your donation will go a long way towards saving lives. These animals are alone and unwanted, and most of them would face certain death, alone on a cold shelter floor, without our help. Please consider a donation, and I will face 40 with gratitude….and a few more wrinkles.
