Hi, Lara, Kelley and Leah here, teachers at Byron Bay High School.

Our much-loved student and mate, Livi Eddington, is battling brain cancer, and our school community is rallying behind him.

On Friday 16 October, our Year 12 2027 students and SRC are hosting a We Stand With Livi fundraiser, including a mufti day, BBQ, music and the sale of our We Stand With Livi caps.

Our principal, Janine Marcus has stepped up to the challenge!

If we raise $1,000 in 24 hours, by 1pm on Friday, she’s shaving her head!

This GoFundMe is a separate, short-term fundraiser created specifically for our school’s event. Livi already has an existing GoFundMe, which has received incredible support. This page will close at 1pm on Friday 16 October, with all funds raised going towards supporting Livi and his family.

Every dollar counts, and we’d love our wider community to get behind us!

Let’s smash our target, shave our principal’s head and, most importantly, show Livi and his family that we’re all standing with them.
