Hello, my name is Amber Bartimus (Naha), and I’m reaching out during an incredibly difficult time for my family.
Our mother, Rainy Naha, recently underwent a major high-risk surgery and is now recovering in the ICU. At this moment, we don’t know how long her hospital stay will be, but we do know that the road ahead will be challenging.
We are asking for support to help cover essential expenses such as travel, food, and hotel stays so our family can remain close to her during her recovery.
Rainy is not only our mother, grandmother, and wife—she is a deeply caring and generous soul who has touched so many lives. She is also a highly respected Hopi potter who has dedicated her life to preserving and continuing the tradition of white pottery. Carrying on the Feather Woman family legacy from her mother, Helen Naha, her work is known and cherished by many.
Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this message, would mean the world to our family during this time.
Kuana'a/ kwakwa (Thank you) from the bottom of our hearts.
