Raina Rosai, my 5-year-old German Shepherd, is the heart of our family. She’s always ready for a game of fetch or a road trip, and she’ll do anything to be by our side. Her loyalty and love are unmatched—she’s truly our protector and best friend. Right now, my girl Raina is fighting every day to be here with her family. Lately, she’s been facing her toughest battle yet. She was recently diagnosed with pyometra, a severe and life-threatening infection. I noticed her symptoms getting worse—vomiting, not eating, and losing her usual energy. We rushed her to the vet, and while antibiotics helped a little, the only way to save her now is emergency surgery. The vet says time is running out, and every day matters for Raina’s survival.
