Help Raina and Mason in Their Cancer Fight
Donation protected
I am posting this on behalf of my best friend/sister/battle buddy and my nephew. Raina and I have been friends since we met at Benson HS too many years ago to mention. We entered the Army together and have never lost our sisterhood. Raina also cared selflessly for my mother as she passed away on hospice. She did all this throughout her own cancer diagnosis. Raina has dealt with brain surgery, strokes, seizures, tumors in her lungs, bladder, etc., and has always handled it with grace and has never wavered in helping others and contributing to the Black community in Portland and beyond.
The most important role has been mother to Mason, my amazing nephew, who has overcome every obstacle set before him, turning his autism diagnosis into a superpower, running track and winning the Special Olympics, and graduating from UofO. Well, now fate has dealt a blow and Mason is home to battle cancer again, for himself this time, as he has been diagnosed with leukemia. With both of them being ill, money is scarce and this time they need help being taken care of the way they have always cared for others. Any help towards food, bills, and treatments would be amazing. God bless.
