I was driving to the gym when I saw this sweet girl sitting in the rain in the middle of a bank parking lot surrounded by cars waiting to get to the atm. I quickly turned around and approached her and saw that this sweet girl had been badly injured.

Some kind people in the line got out of their cars to help me lift her into my car as she couldn't move even an inch, one kid man even draped his jacket over her to keep her warm.

I got her to the vet where things seem to be worse for her from previous incidents and not just being hit by a car before I got there.

She has a very bad laceration on her rear right leg above the knee that is about 6-8" long. She is covered in scars and scrapes, she is lactating so she recently had puppies, there were a few other possible issues that I honestly didn't understand. It appears that this poor girl has had a very rough life so far, maybe a few litters of puppies and very beat up as seen by her many scars. She is not microchipped and no owners have come forward.

The doctor helped me evaluate the best course of action for the lowest budget that she could so as of now, that is 1500-2500 for 12-16 hours in the hospital receiving fluids and pain meds. Treating the wound, as well as doing x rays of her spine as she is unable to walk.

Before leaving I had to pay the $1500 up front, so I am setting the go fund me for 3k as of now and if anything is not needed I will donate it all to a rescue.

I am also hoping that I can find a rescue that is able to take her and care for her as well as find her a foster.

If anyone is interested in fostering her that would greatly Increase the chance of a rescue being able to take her.
