Hello, my name is Raily, and I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to study abroad in Paris for an art survey class at Wake Tech. I was awarded a scholarship that covers the cost of the trip itself, but I still need help covering the tuition and class fees to make this dream a reality.

A little about me: I’m an 18-year-old artist, storyteller, and student who has always been driven by curiosity and creativity. I run a small business creating pet portraits, using art to help people cherish their loved ones. I’ve also used art as a tool for activism and connection, whether it’s helping people express their distress over climate change through watercolors or giving a TEDx talk on how fictional stories can help fight climate change. As a founding member of the Teen Advisory Board for the North Carolina Youth Climate Summit, I’ve worked to inspire young people to take action, always tying storytelling and visual art into my work.

This trip is more than just a class—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to immerse myself in the heart of art history. Paris is home to masterpieces I’ve only dreamed of seeing in person, and this experience will shape me as both an artist and a student. With your help, I’ll be able to afford the tuition needed to fully participate in the program.
