Hi, I'm Rahne, and 2026 has shown to be an escalating volatile pit of medical distress and financial woes. And we're barely a month in.

This money will go towards past due medical copays, a dental procedure I need to stop a recurring infection, and primarily towards paying off a medical device that I need in order to survive day-to-day life (BiPAP).

My sleep test results were alarming; I experience 125 events per hour. To give context, more than 30 is considered severe, and 5 and under is "normal." Meaning: I am over 4 times the rate of a severe case and it's honestly a miracle I've survived this long without passing in my sleep. I often wake up in the middle of the night, gasping for air, and I cannot afford the machine that will aid in that. I'm honestly devastated by my current medical situation.

Due to the number of doctors' visits I've had to schedule and go through to receive proper treatment, my pay has been cut due to running out of PTO hours, stressing an already stressful situation.

Anything helps. I've never thought I'd be in such a situation to require reaching out like this, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
