Salaam, I’m raising funds for Rahman. He injured his knee while running. What we first thought was a minor sprain turned out to be a complete ACL rupture, a bucket handle meniscus tear and bone bruising. He has been struggling to walk ever since as his knee is locked, and the pain has been constant.

He needs surgery as soon as possible if he wants to regain proper movement. There is no Medicare or private insurance to rely on, so everything must be paid out of pocket. The surgery is estimated to be fifteen thousand dollars and the physiotherapy he will need for the next six months is around five thousand dollars. It is a lot for us to carry, especially because Rahman has not been able to work for a year and he will not be able to return to work until he fully recovers.

This situation is heavy but we are taking it one day at a time. Rahman is a quiet and hard working person and he never asks for help, so putting this out there is not easy. But right now he really needs support, even if it is small. No amount is too small for us. Every bit helps more than you know.
