As many of you know, my amazing sister and friend Rahel recently underwent surgery for thyroid cancer. We are so thankful that the surgery was a success. As she embarks down a long road of hormone therapy and frequent scans and tests, the last thing she needs to worry about is the over $10,000 in hospital bills that her insurance didn't cover. So, I'm launching this GoFundMe so that with everything else that her body and heart have gone through, she'll at least have one less thing to lose sleep over.

If there's one thing I know about Rahel, it's that she gives tirelessly. Her students, fellow faculty, youth group, friends, family, and practically everyone she meets has been on the receiving end of her kindness and generosity. Now, it's our turn to give back to her a fraction of what she has given us.
