Rage is a parent of three, a community organizer, and a Birthworker & Family Transition Specialist in St. Louis. So much of Rage’s life is centered around supporting families, building community, and creating opportunities and resources for others. Right now, one of the biggest barriers they face is not having reliable transportation. Without a dependable car, everyday responsibilities like getting their children where they need to go, getting to work, grocery shopping, attending appointments, organizing events, and responding to the needs of their community take much more time, coordination, and energy than they should.

For Rage, having a vehicle would be much more than a convenience. Reliable transportation would help them move more freely throughout the city, transport supplies and materials, and reach more people through the work they do. It would also make it possible for Rage to accept more work, attend trainings and events, and take on opportunities that are currently difficult or out of reach without a car. The funds from this fundraiser will help Rage purchase a dependable used vehicle and cover the initial costs of getting it safely on the road, creating more stability and independence for their household.
