Help Raft Guide Santiago Carlin Reinvent himself
Donation protected
My name is Santiago Carlin - for the past 5 years, I've been head river guide and chief instructor at Amazonas Explorer. I have a son, Adrian, who is 5 years old and a baby daughter, Amelia who is 9 months. Watch the video below that we made last year on the beauty of the Apurimac river:
As an adventure tour guide, I like to do a lot of outdoor activities, but now with Covid-19, everything has stopped which has been a big shock to all of us.
So now it is time to do different things and I want to reinvent myself and start my own business to help me feed my family.
I have already started to work with one of my bothers selling propane gas and now I want to build my own small shop to sell and deliver gas bottles as well as spare parts for kitchen accessories.

I'm also working my father's fields near Curahuasi, high above the Apurimac to produce organic products to sell in the local market.

So, in order to start my own business, I'm trying to raise $2500 (£1923) for the direct from the factory down payment on 50 gas bottles and also a small motorcycle to make the deliveries. Plus some seeds for my land.
At least until this pandemic finishes, and then I can go back to work as a raft guide as I have been doing before. And, when that happens, I will be delighted to show you round, show you Cusco, the majestic Apurimac River and of course Machu Picchu.
And even better, if I keep both options open, that will surely be a good idea as well.
Thank you very much.
Santiago
