Help Raffi Get Surgery!

Meet Raffi! He is a an American Rotweiler with a heart of pure gold. He had a terrible accident where his paw was ran over and 4/5 of his metacarpal bones were broken badly. The bones were completely exposed and penetrated through his skin. The blood loss was severe and the wound itself was very graphic as you could see the entire anatomy of his paw exposed. He was rushed to emergency where they gave him an epidural in his spine to relieve the extreme pain he was in. The vets operated on him immediately however it was a temporary fix for a long term problem. Inside his paw was very badly infected and we were told he may have to have that leg amputated. After a rigorous medication and dressing schedule his infection has finally started to let up. Raffi now needs another surgery from a specialist where they will be placing plates and pins into his paw to align and correct the bones so they may heal properly.  Everyone says that their dog is the best dog - but Raffi is truly one of a kind and touches the hearts of every person he meets. He is a gentle giant full of love and adventure. All we want is for him to have a normal healthy life full of abundance and all the things he loves to do. Raffi is the glue of our family.
