Help Raffi Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Raffaella and Danny are the loving parents of two young and energetic girls but Raffi is fighting a rare cancer and the family is struggling with medical debt.
Their family hustled in Los Angeles for years (Raffi a preschool teacher and postpartum doula / Danny a personal fitness and strength coach) before they moved to Kansas for a simpler, more stress-free life.
However, on August 3rd 2020, Raffi woke up from surgery to hear the news (from her husband nonetheless) that a radical vulvectomy had taken place to remove Squamous Cell Carcinoma (aka cancer).
Recovering from surgery was hard enough but then, during a follow-up after a PET Scan, Raffi was told the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes.
This came as a huge shock.
Raffi, who is responsible for homeschooling their two girls, as well as homemaking, is in constant pain. She tries to rest, but due to the pain and the stress, there is no relief.
Scheduled visits to doctors, remote appointments, and therapy are hard to juggle as Danny works full time on a Ranch and is picking up extra work as much as possible.
To say these two are stretched thin is an understatement. Every day is really hard for this beautiful family and I’d love to help ease their financial stress.
At this point, the family is $20,000 in debt due to medical bills.
The bills continue to pile up as therapy, supplements, specific foods for diet, and other maintenance is required to beat this cancer. The sense of helplessness and sadness can be overwhelming at times.
The two girls are also struggling with the changes as Raffi isn’t able to continue her normal activities due to the pain in her pelvis. Hugging is different. Emotions are big. The girls feel the changes and they are trying to sort it all out.
If you know her, you know Raffi is an incredibly strong and fiercely smart woman. She has faith that she can beat this Cancer and is researching her treatment options, having multiple appointments per week, and she’s also using a holistic approach to her healing.
Supporting this family financially will not only help pay for current medical bills but could also help pay for upcoming treatments, immunotherapy, childcare, healthy food, medicine, etc.
Many have offered their support and I believe this is the best thing we can do right now.
After talking to the family, they are humbly willing to accept our support. So if you are the type who would normally send flowers or food, consider giving that amount to this fundraiser instead.
Whether it's $1 or $1000, your contribution helps. Thank you.
