Rafaela Garcia, a dedicated wine and spirits sales executive, has been in the most brutal battle for over 2yrs: stage four metastasized ovarian cancer. She's endured rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and holes in her back for tubes to connect her kidneys to external bags. Her second cycle of chemotherapy treatment has caused neuropathy throughout her body.
Her quality of life has been dramatically impacted as she struggles with severe pain, nausea, and impaired mobility. This conflicts with a job that requires in-person physical activity she cannot do and yet has the pressures of earning commissions to pay her bills and the care needed for her beloved English Springer Spaniel, Ozzy. He is Rafaela's source of joy and motivation to beat cancer.
