Hi my name is Raegan, i’m 22 years old and I’m from Orlando FL. Finances have always been a struggle in my life, not just in adulthood but throughout my youth. When I turned 18 I immediately worked on getting my first job because I knew having my own funds would be important. A couple months into me being 18, I basically in a way came out to my mom and I believe due to this and changes that were happening in my life, I was kicked out of my home and I’ve been on my own since then because we are no contact due to this problem escalating. I’ve kind of been figuring out ever since then. Ive worked since then and also ended up moving in with my partner at the time for 2 years, due to a breach of my trust we broke up and I had to leave that home and it’s been an ongoing struggle. The hardest thing right now is not having a car. I haven’t had one since I was kicked out, I have my license but could never afford a car. Having to go live at a new place after my breakup made my credit to take a huge dive, because I was paying for so many Ubers to get to get to and from work and honestly using my credit card to pay rent some months. Due to my poor credit right now, I can’t get approved for any loans for a car so I can get myself to and from work. My current partner and I shared his car but it has broken 4 times in the last 5 months. He’s spent countless times paying to have it fixed just for it to have a new issue a month later. It now doesn’t brake or accelerate. We just want a car we can both use to get ourselves to work that won’t break down. I hate needing help but with loan offices not approving me this is all I can think of. Thank you so much for taking the time to read.
