Help Raeed Safi's family in Gaza!

Hello, I am Cynthia from the Netherlands, and I have set up this fundraiser for my partner’s family in Gaza. Read the story of his family in Gaza below.

He is responsible for supporting his family with 5 children (and his mother and siblings along with their families.)

The family has suffered a lot in the past 1.5 year; they’ve been displaced, forced to leave their homes, fled repeatedly, lived in tents, and faced illness, terrible weather conditions, and hunger. In the winter, their tent broke down several times. The summer days were unbearingly hot, with little to no access to water. All horrific conditions imposed on a regular, innocent family, by the Israeli aggressor.

At the moment the family is back in Khan Younis. When the ceasefire came into effect in the past weeks, they went back to see if anything was left of their home. But everything was destroyed. The house that was built with the hands my partner’s father (Who has passed away a couple of years ago) needs to be rebuilt completely. The life of this family has been destroyed and stolen from them. The future of the children is hopeless and unimaginable.

A few days ago, one of the darkest days of the past weeks began. Israel resumed bombardments, and my partners family had to flee again. They have no income and depend on solidarity and donations to get food, water, and medicine; which has all but tripled in pricing since the borders have been closed once again, by the vindictive Israeli colonizer.

Transferring donations

I will transfer all donations to my partner’s when he indicates that his family needs some money. I can confirm the reality and daily struggles of our family because I witness the daily contact he has with them.
