Hello, this is Dis on behalf of my friend Rads, who is currently living in Brazil,

After a rough period at home resulting in his mother separating from her husband, Rads’ family has found themselves in an unstable situation where they urgently need funds to survive.

It’s been understandably difficult for Rads’ mother to get steady employment throughout the separation process, and the income of the children in the family on its own isn’t enough for everyone to survive on, but the need to find safer, better housing as quickly as possible is so important that we’ve come to you to ask for your support.

They’re hoping to raise $3000; this will be enough to cover accumulated bills and debt, transport costs and more importantly cover the initial rent for a place in Pernambuco, 469km closer to relatives who can offer more support once they’re closer!

However with the school term approaching and Rads’ younger siblings needing to attend, they can’t afford to risk waiting very long. Any and all help you provide would be so incredibly helpful for this family, and make a scary situation just a little bit less terrifying.
