Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my dear cousin Radhika Khatri, who has recently been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness — blood cancer (leukemia). She is only 23 years old, with her whole life ahead of her, and now she's in the toughest battle of her life. She is currently being treated at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital, Chitwan, Nepal.
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that she is the mother of two beautiful young boys, one just 4 years old and the other only 13 months. As you can imagine, this devastating diagnosis has turned their world upside down. What could be more heartbreaking than seeing your lovely kids asking for your time while you must go for tens of chemotherapy sessions.
Her economic situation is extremely fragile. She comes from a low-income background, and the burden of daily expenses, medical treatment, hospital visits, medications, and childcare is overwhelming. She wants nothing more than to survive and be there to raise her children, but without financial help, the road ahead is incredibly uncertain. Her Husband is currently working a low-skilled labour job in Saudi Arab.
As a family, we are doing everything we can to support her, but the costs are far beyond our reach. That’s why we’re turning to you — our community, friends, and compassionate supporters — to help us raise funds for her medical treatment and to support her children during this crisis.
Your donation, no matter the amount, will go directly towards:
• Urgent medical care and ongoing cancer treatment.
• Transportation and hospital costs.
• Daily essentials and living expenses for her and her children.
• Childcare and support for her sons while she undergoes treatment.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign. Your kindness could help save a young mother’s life and secure a future for her children.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, prayers, and support during this unimaginable time.
Since Go Fund Me does not work with direct transfer to a Nepali Bank Account, I will make withdrawals from my Australian Bank Account and remit her.
With gratitude,
Rabin Khatri
