At just 28 years old, my dear friend Radhika is fighting a battle she never imagined — a serious and life-threatening lung disease called aspergillosis.

What began as breathing difficulties quickly escalated into a medical emergency. Today, she is hospitalized, relying on constant medical care, powerful antifungal treatments, and close monitoring just to breathe and survive. Watching someone so young, full of dreams and plans for the future, struggle for every breath is heartbreaking.

Aspergillosis is not a simple illness. The treatment is long, complex, and extremely expensive. Hospital stays, specialized medications, scans, tests, and ongoing care are placing an enormous financial strain on her and her family during an already terrifying time.

I am organizing this fundraiser on her behalf so she can focus on the most important thing right now — healing and staying alive — without the constant fear of how the medical bills will be paid.
