Radar has been a part of our family for over a decade. My husband and Radar backpacked through the west coast together before we settled down, and after our daughter was born, she and Radar became inseparable. He insists on sleeping in her bed every night and has always been there to protect us, especially during the times we were houseless. Many people in our community know and love Radar for his gentle spirit and loyalty.

Recently, we received heartbreaking news from the vet: Radar has a massive tumor on his spleen and needs a full splenectomy, along with dental work for an infected tooth. The vet believes Radar is a perfect candidate for surgery, and if successful, we could have more precious time with him—possibly over a year. Right now, our family, including our dog and cat, is living in a motel room, and we want nothing more than to give Radar the care he deserves after all he’s given us.

We’re reaching out for help to cover the costs of Radar’s surgery and dental care. He’s been our protector, our friend, and a beloved member of our family.
