Hello GoFundMe World,

My name is Wendi and I have created this GoFundMe campaign with the intention of helping five innocent children who have recently lost their beloved mother, Rachel Marie Ferguson, suddenly in a tragic car accident. Rachel was born on November 25, 1992, and sadly passed away on November 9, 2025, at just 32 years old. She was dedicated to her children, and the love she gave them was evident to everyone who saw their radiant smiles. I have personally never encountered children who were happier or more loved. The loss of their mother has left them devastated, and they now face a future without the most important person in their lives.

The youngest children, ages 3 and 5, are confused and struggling to comprehend the reality of their mother’s absence. They can only see the sorrow and heartbreak surrounding them. The older siblings, ages 6, 7, and 15, may not fully understand how to process their pain, but they are acutely aware of the profound loss that will remain with them for life. As time passes, each child will continue to experience the devastation in different ways, and we can only hope that, someday, they will find a sense of wholeness again. However, it is well known that losing a mother leaves an irreplaceable void, and life is never quite the same.

Many of us are at a loss, trying to determine how we can help, how to provide mental support, and how to guide the children through this difficult time. We all want to comfort them and assure them that things will be alright. However, the reality is that it will never truly be okay, and we, too, are struggling with immense pain. It is difficult to hide our sorrow, and though we do our best to remain strong, it is a tremendous challenge.

The funds raised through this campaign will be used to address the immediate needs of the children. While we cannot take away their pain, we can work together to ensure that they do not go without anything essential. Our collective support can help ease their burden and provide some comfort during this heartbreaking time.
