My name is Rachel. A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the sweetest little girls I have ever known. Her mom and I have become great friends, and about a month ago, she went to the ER with stomach pain and a fever. Her mom thought it was appendicitis, but the ultrasound revealed something else. She had a mass on her lower spine, and they couldn't tell what it was. More tests and a biopsy later, and still no answers as to what it really is, but they were determined to remove it. Her parents agreed, along with all friends and family, that it had to go. Surgery was scheduled, and it has been removed as of this afternoon. However, medical insurance isn't going to pay for the entire surgery, and we still don't know if it is cancerous. They are currently running those tests. She is not out of the woods yet but is so strong and determined. Her parents are now faced with the extremely large hospital bill for the surgery and need your help. Please help our sweet little angel out. Her family barely makes it every month to begin with, and now they have mounting bills that could increase if the worst news comes. I will update this when the results come in as to what it actually is.
