Help Rachel's Family Through Her Leukemia Battle

Rachel's story:

Rachel has spent much of the summer trying to get to the bottom of some difficult health symptoms. The last 10 days have been trying ones. Rachel has been in the hospital where doctors were trying to figure out what is causing the extreme symptoms she is having. Rachel was finally able to have a bone marrow biopsy this week and the diagnosis came back as Acute Leukemia.

While we are thankful for a diagnosis, this is just the beginning of a long road ahead. Rachel will have to stay in the hospital for several weeks while they run additional tests and figure out a treatment plan. She will be off work for the foreseeable future. Joey is still working but makes trips back and forth to the hospital every day to take care of Rachel and provide for their four kids at home. Rachel's parents, Roger and Jan, will care for the children while Rachel focuses on treatment.
