Help rachelle get back on the road!

For those of you who don’t know me, I was pushed into a pool at my bachelorette party and sustained a spinal cord injury that left me paralyzed from the chest down, including my hands. My biggest fear had been driving and I just started being independent and getting out on my own. It was such a relief to be able to go somewhere when I wanted. But on June 12, I was driving when my chest strap gave out. As I was going around the roundabout, it made me fall to the side and I was not able to turn. I ran into a tree, smashing my face. I just got the news that the one thing that has given me so much freedom has been totaled.

 

I require a specialized wheelchair accessible van that costs for more than your average van. Without it, I am unable to go anywhere.
