Rachel's Leukemia Fundraiser

As many of you have heard Rachel Mann was admitted to the IWK this past Sunday with kidney problems. It has been a shock to everyone, including medical staff, that Rachel has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This news has been devastating to her loving parents who have dropped everything to be by her side and support her through this. 

This is a very curable cancer, it has been caught early and Rachel (and her family) have an amazing medical and support team around her.

This is a long road to recovery for this sweet 8 year old but oh boy, this girl...she is resilient and strong. Chemotherapy treatment has already begun and will continue at the Oncology Ward for the next 4 weeks with 2 more years as of treatment as an outpatient. The family asks for your positive thoughts, prayer and love in this hard time. 

As friends of the family, we’d like to reach out to this strong community to rally behind them to raise some funds for all the unexpected expenses they will have during this time and take a little stress off. All donations are appreciated with much gratitude.
