Help Rachel Transition out of Monastic Training

Hello sweet community,

Many of you know that I have been in temple training for the last two years and am now wanting to transition out. As a person that has always been low income/working class and with little access to outside financial resources, practice--especially in my second year has been quite strenuous and leaving the temple carries some heaviness with it in this vein.

Because of rising number of financial concerns I am in need of assistance so that I can pay costs for down payments on housing as well as my needs for transportation, having working devices for applying for work and to keep up with my creative platforms.

In the last few months I have been offered possibilities for housing but because I do not have the funds to sustain myself I have not been able to say a definitive yes to these offers.

In community we often care for each other and ask for assistance from sangha and friends and loved ones to help us be in the world--not just temple space in ways that are nourishing for us. Having assistance will give me time to:

Job search while staying with friends and community members

Repair my computer which likely needs a new battery and keyboard glitch fixes

Get a working cell number

Have deposit and first month for rent that allow me to stay a local sangha member in Millerton--I have a committed roommate just need to secure funds to last me the first couple months while I settle into work life.

Be able to find a therapist that is well versed in neurodivergence and begin sessions as soon as possible.

Pay for monthly bills that include herbal medicines and vitamins for my health as well as acupuncture sessions.

Pay for new labels and boxes for my herbal and aromatic formulations as well as web hosting fees.
