Help Save Meg from Eviction

Update: Meg is in serious danger of being evicted from her apartment. Three day notice on her door on October 3rd, eviction filed October 9th. Please donate what you can every bit helps. All funds go to Meg. This Cerebral Palsy warrior needs our help.

Hello, I'm Rachel Wilson and I am raising money for my best friend, Meg. She has endured a lot; I have been with her through the years seeing her story. I'd want her to see that she's not alone and have community support. She deserves all the support in the world.

Meg is a fighter. Born with cerebral palsy, she has spent her life pushing through barriers—physical, emotional, and societal. On top of living with daily pain and limitations, Meg has endured heartbreak, injustice, and unthinkable abuse from those who were meant to protect her.

What many people don’t see are the invisible scars — years of emotional, financial, and physical abuse at the hands of those who were supposed to care for her.

For too long, Meg was confined to her room, isolated from the world, and denied the freedom to live life on her own terms. They controlled her money, limited her mobility, and tried to crush her spirit.

But Meg’s spirit is unbreakable.

After years of enduring this cruelty, Meg bravely broke free from that toxic environment. She is now in a safe place, finally able to begin the long journey of healing, recovery, and independence. Yet, after a lifetime of being held back, she’s starting from scratch.
With this GoFundMe, I’m hoping to raise $10,000 to support Meg’s healing journey— This new environment supports her in her disability.

With your help, we are raising $10,000 to give Meg the fresh start she has fought so hard for:
• Safe housing and stability
• Medical care and therapies to manage cerebral palsy and heal from trauma
• Basic necessities like transportation, adaptive equipment, and food security
• Freedom from financial control, so Meg can make her own decisions for the first time in her life

Every dollar goes directly to Meg to help her rebuild her life with dignity and hope. Your support doesn’t just give Meg resources — it gives her freedom, healing, and the chance to thrive after years of surviving.

No matter how others have treated her that has never made Meg’s heart grow cold toward others. She’s always there and caring for her friends even with dealing struggles of her own. Meg has a known love of history and books she can tell you everything about Anne Boleyn, everything you probably didn’t know about the Titanic sinking, and a hardcore fan of the Harry Potter lore.

Meg is light, humor, and strength in human form. She deserves to have a community of people show her she is not alone in this life. That she matters. Her life matters. Let’s show her she’s not alone.

Please donate if you can and share Meg’s story. Let’s show her that the world is filled with kindness, hope, and second chances.
