Rachel has always lived life at full speed. She balances a demanding career with the work she loves most—training horses and spending every spare moment outdoors with her dogs. Horses are not only her passion, but also a source of income.
Recently, Rachel was injured in a horseback riding accident, suffering a complex tibial plateau fracture and a fractured fibula that require surgery. Her recovery will take time, including at least 10 weeks without being able to put weight on her leg and several months to almost a year before she can fully return to normal activities.
Because she lives alone, she now needs help with everyday tasks like meals, transportation, dog care, and getting to physical therapy. The financial impact has also been significant. The injury happened out of state, leading to higher medical costs, along with lost income during her recovery.
We are raising $20,000 to help cover medical expenses, daily support, and lost income so Rachel can focus on healing. Any amount helps, and sharing her story means a lot as well.
Rachel is someone who is always there for others, and we’re grateful for any support you can give. Thank you for your kindness and support.
