Help Rachel Overcome This Challenging Time

Hi, I'm Laura and I am doing a fundraiser for my dear friend, Rachel. She is a fabulous, dedicated, faithful single mother who has met with an unexpected emergency. This emergency has kept her out of work and will do so for at least another month. Here is her story.

What happened, you ask? On September 18, a feral cat made its way into my mom's house and created chaos. It all happened so fast! It went for my kids, but the mama bear in me was activated!!!! Kids are safe, I got bit. Terribly.

It's nearly been two weeks later. Lots of antibiotics. A surgery. A hospital stay. And I am STILL fighting an infection that is now in my joint! The talk of a second surgery is being talked about amongst the doctors. With or without the additional surgery, I've been told I will not be able to work for at least one month. Your prayers for healing are so much appreciated.
