Hello, my name is Rachel. I am a wife and mother of five, currently facing stage 4 breast cancer. My journey began on March 28, 2024, at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, where I received my diagnosis. From that point forward, everything progressed very quickly.

I started chemotherapy on April 16, and I am grateful to share that my body has responded well with minimal side effects. My family, friends, and medical team remain hopeful for my recovery, and I am doing my best to stay strong and positive throughout this process.

Unfortunately, the financial burden has become overwhelming. My medical bills have already exceeded $400,000 and continue to grow. Beyond the cost of treatment, the rising expenses of daily living—rent, utilities, and other necessities—have placed a tremendous strain on my family, as we are currently relying on a single income. Despite our efforts, it has become increasingly difficult to manage these challenges while living paycheck to paycheck.
