Help Rachel in her Fight against Cancer!

Earlier this year, our friend Rachel Quinones was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, cancer located in the head and neck region. Rachel had surgery in April and started radiation, chemo, and immunotherapy treatments in May. Against the backdrop of a global pandemic, the diagnosis and treatments have made the last six months an extremely difficult time. This aggressive cancer has unfortunately spread to her lymph nodes and lungs. Those of you who know Rachel, know what a fighter she is and she has been giving this her all.  She recently finished a new round of radiation treatments, sometimes two sessions a day, and is currently undergoing weekly chemo treatments at The Cancer Institute of NJ, part of Rutgers University and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. 

Many of you probably remember Rachel either on a field, or a court. She definitely has a love of sports. Others may know her from her Hoboken, Jersey City, or Point Pleasant Beach days. Definitely made some amazing memories there, and great friends too. Rachel’s heart is always in the right place and she would do anything for anybody. She has always been an extension of our family.

 All of your love and support is greatly appreciated during these difficult times.
