Help Rachel Get Facial Feminization Surgery

Hello, my name is Rachel. I'm a 30 year old transgender woman. Like many trans women, I urgently need several surgeries from the suite of procedures known as Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS). After years of research and months of consultations, I've finally scheduled an operation for 10/6/20.

Unfortunately, my insurance will only cover about half of the necessary procedures (tracheal shave and cranioplasty). In addition to the $2000 deductible and co-pay my insurance requires, I'll also be responsible for the full cost of the remaining procedures (rhinoplasty and chin shaping) and the two week recovery period during which I will be unable to work.

I've saved as much as possible in anticipation of these costs. Despite my efforts, I'm still several thousand dollars short of being able to cover all of the expenses related to my FFS. Your donation will help me afford the difference. My payment will be due on 9/22/20, two weeks in advance of the surgery.
