Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm trying to raise funds for a (safe) car. I am not interested in the newest anything, just something that is actually safe for me to drive- this car doesn't lock, is rusted out completely, the brakes barely work, and I can barely get it 20 minutes away from home. The tipping point? I can't even change the brake pads (which are worn to metal) because the whole thing is so rusted. I am worried.

I moved away in 2022 to try and escape the pain of losing my mother traumatically, and ended up very much financially destroyed. I am trying to rebuild. I had just enough to buy this car, but I am very worried for my safety and will only be able to pull out of this mess if I can drive to get to work. I also still need to eat! Unfortunately, my city requires a car.
