Hi friends, I’m Ama (Amarachi Rachel Nwokoro).
I’m an artist, community healer, and disability justice activist in London. I centre Black, disabled, trans, queer, and mad survivors through art, transformative spaces, and advocacy—using creativity as medicine and protest.
In recent years, I’ve had to learn how to manage chronic conditions including Fibromyalgia, M.E., and Complex PTSD, while recovering from trauma, temporary housing, and burnout.
I need support to stay independent, safe, and able to keep doing this work.
Funds will go toward:
* Carers and support workers
* Medication and medical expenses
* Mobility aids and transport (esp to appointments)
* Therapy, pain management, and self-care
* Domestic help and essential living costs
State funding for these things is complex to access and even harder to hold on to. If my work has ever touched or inspired you, your donation helps me survive, create, and care for this community sustainably. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference—and sharing this page spreads the love.

Thank you for helping me stay alive, keep creating, and continue this vital work.
Love,
Ama ❤️️
