My name is Rachel, and I’m facing renal cell carcinoma for the second time. This time, the cancer is inoperable and has metastasized, making treatment our only hope. Since my diagnosis on Christmas Eve of 2025, life has changed dramatically. I’m unable to work, and my husband and I are struggling to keep up with bills and daily expenses. The uncertainty of my health and our finances has been overwhelming, and we’ve reached a point where we need to ask for help.

Right now, my treatment is covered by insurance, but I’m on the brink of losing my job, which means I could lose my insurance as well. We’re also hoping to travel to John’s Hopkins in Maryland for a second opinion, but the cost of a plane ticket and travel expenses is more than we can manage on our own. Every dollar raised will go directly toward our bills and the costs of seeking the best possible care.
